i dont have a woohu journal, so don't think i'm hiding or something. question: if you hate dashboard sooo much why are you using up your energy making this? i think you might be hiding a love for dbc. and if you sincerely hate him, you're just making him more money by getting his name out there-people who see this and dont know dbc will check him out probably and go pay that $30.

I dunno who's journal this is.....but all im sayin is that dashboard confessional DOES suck. and im gonna say the same thing i said to the last person who said they were good......... I listened to them so i could decide for myself if they really suck or not, and i think they sound like fuckin coffee house poetry songs. they need to be sent to afganistan so they can play a private concert, that way .... the terrible sound will make all the afgans kill themselves....

alright, this is for everyone who write on this idiotic thing about their misconseptions and superficial values of what music is. apparently, as the "ditzy blonde girl" said... it sounds like coffee house poetry. well call me crazy, but i judge the quality of a musical artist by their talent, not whether or not they play it on top 20 radio stations. and there is no way that ANY of you can honestly tell me that you can play a guitar better, write better, and sing better, all at once. i think it's a pretty amazing thing to be as talented as he is. and just to show how much you people know what you're talking about, dashboard is CHRIS CARRABA.... that's ONE PERSON... so im not sure who you think you're talkign about when you say "them" but it's certainly not a them. and i don't see how you can complain about him sounding like "coffee house poetry".... all songs are a form of poetry, just presented differently. so i assume you're talking about the quality of his writing. and as far as that's concerned...he's phenominal. so all of you people who say "dashboard sucks, it's too emo, blah blah blah" obviously haven't the faintest clue what music is. music isn't always about a catchy tune. it's about meaning. it's about expressing your feelings. so i'm sorry that you're not deep enough to think on that level and even attempt to understand his music, but that doesn't make him bad...it makes you ignorant.

I'm not realy sure who you are.. I don't even know if you know me. Lol. Dashboard is ok. I listen to him every now and then but I'm not a big fan of his, but his shit is alright. I wouldn't pay to go to one of the concerts or anything.
By the way, I think you can do whatever the fuck you wat with yuor journal. Just because it's dedicat\ed to how much you hate DBC doesn'yt mean yuo secretely want to be him, like them, etc. Do whatever the hell you want. K?

I don't hate Dashboard Confessional, but I don't love them. In fact I don't listen to them I came across your profile randomly. You seem cool w/ all your rages about how you hate Dashboard. Lol. No offense to anyone who has posted on here, but I don't see why some people sit here and comment on why you hate them so much. It's your opinion. It's not a right or wrong thing. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, and you are. So rock on! But when people consistantly type over and over about how wrong you are for hating them, then that's really dumb. They shouldn't argue against what an individual hates or likes. Rock on!
