Hi y'all. How's everybody doin? I'm real bored and haven't updated for awhile. I saw the Matrix reloaded yesterday and it was pretty cool. The special effects were good, of coarse, and it had a lot of good fighty shooty scenes, but not much of a plot. As Ben said, there was stuff about choice and purpose and all that, but they were like randomly inserted pieces of philosophy. It was still entertaining tho, so...yeah. Thats all I have to say about the Matrix. I read On the Road over the weekend. It's by Jack Kerouac. Its about the early beatniks and there travels across the US. Jack Kerouac wrote it as fiction but its actually true, he just changed some of the names. Heres one of the cooler parts when there going from San Francisco to New York: "Oh, man! man!" moaned Dean. "And its not even the begining of it-and now we're going east together, Sal, think of it, we'll dig Denver together and see what everybody's doing though that matters little to us, the point being that we know what IT is and we know TIME and we know that everything really is FINE....."Now you just dig them in front. They have worries, they're counting the miles, they're thinking about where to sleep tonight, how much money for gas, the weather, how they'll get there-and all the time they'll get there anyway, you see...." Yeah. Well, I thought it was cool. Anyway, sorry if this entry turns out long....Bye now. |
