that's right kids, it's time for another episode of "Spud's Food Adventures". let's take a peek into spud's journal to see what his latest interesting endeavour is. * * * * * * * yeah. i'm here. it's been so long since i've done anything. lately my alter ego, 'chris', has been down or whatever, so i've been limited in my abilities to shine through with my comic genius. and i haven't had any opportunities to flex my muscles and conquer some unsuspecting culinary delicacy. but now, my opportunity has returned! the conquistadors are over at my place, marveling at my amazing ability with interior decorations, and such a modest budget. we're all enjoying some ice cold milk, and barbecue potato chips. the conversation turns to their recent goings on. they rambled on about the most uninteresting missions ever. tuna salad, goulash, mac and cheese (made velveeta style), and some strange new breed of baclava. then we got to talking about the old days, about when i would go with them. the foods we conquered. beef pot pies, barbecue potato chips, moose tracks ice cream. and we realized that i had never really conquered anything truly unique. no italian, or mexican, or even german. some corned beef and sauerkraut was sounding really good. after all, 'chris' was of german heritage. mmmm. what about chinese, or maybe grilled food. hmm. i'm kinda feeling like italian. so i present this to the conquistadors. they agree. i recommend the fettucine alfredo. they agree! so we're off! to italy everyone! |
