| So my life recently. I had a lot of fun when everyone came over and we went drinking. But then I had to get back to the real world. Work has been annoying. I can’t believe how stupid some people are. I had a lady looking for stair treads, I show them to her and she’s like no no no, I want those rubber ones. I stare at her and ask if she wants the covers, she agrees and I send her back to floor coverings where she came from because she didn’t know what and the hell she was talking about. Another lady today, wanted an egress window. So I try and explain the math to her, she would not listen. She had to type it into the calculator, and I had to explain to her how to do that, then I confused her with the conversion from inches to feet. Since they were square you have to use the square to convert, she wanted to just use 12 not 144 and could not figure out why she didn’t get a correct answer even though it was repeatedly explained to her. Roger and Scott ended up working together to make her happy, I left before they were able to finish. I got a funny compliment from a customer yesterday. She said, “You must be an English major, you enunciate very clearly.” I had to laugh really hard, because Josh is always complaining that I don’t enunciate very clearly saying that I speak poorly. I really like Roger as a manager. Normally you feel that your manager is above you and that you have to act differently around them. Today after waiting on a guy he says, “Stupid redneck hick…” It was hard for me to not laugh my ass off. So, work isn’t too bad, just annoying. Now onto the home front. I thought I was getting used to Josh. I realized that it was because he was gone for a few days. He had been spending the night at boy’s houses. One night at Corey’s for his B-Day, the rest who knows. Once he got back it all started over again. Whatever I say is wrong. He tried to arrange the living room tonight. He kept asking for my help to move stuff, I would tell him that it wasn’t going to fit there and let him move it himself to prove the point. Once stuff got there, he says oh. Then complains. Another annoying thing is that he keeps referring to me as flaming. If I’m flaming for a gay man, then your definition of straight acting is very narrow. Not that there’s anything wrong with being flaming, it’s just something I would prefer not to be, because it is slightly irritating to me. Talked with Jason the other night, Josh’s, not Rocky or my roommate. He had blocked Josh and refused to speak with him. So Josh calls the other night and left a message on his machine. Since Josh couldn’t get a hold of him, he had a friend IM Jay to get around the block. Jay has very similar opinions of Joshie. I’ve come to the realization that Josh can’t stand it if any guy isn’t under his control. I think that is why I bother him so much. I may be quiet and reserved, but I do have a personality and it is my own, I will not bend it to meet his. He also can’t stand being dumped. He keeps going after the guys trying to get them back. He can’t admit that he himself may have actually done something wrong to cause the end of it. Jay is glad that he doesn’t have to have anything to do with him anymore. But somehow I gained a friend, and I’ve never met the guy. I just got his SN from Josh. Remember a month ago when I got rear-ended? I get to go to small claims court. The guy won’t pay out and neither will his insurance company. So, I have to sue him to get money out of him. Grrr. |
