After more than 14 hours of travel and staying up for 24 hours, I'm finally home from Europe. I think in some ways I have changed. I've realized: that their is a whole world out there; that things like the internet and tv are unimportant; that I'm insignificant right now; that I'm unsure if I want to go to school in a big city; that I didn't miss my family. At times, I got so much into the touring routine that I felt like I could keep on doing it. When I walked in my house, everything seemed estranged from myself. True, the floors were cleaner and my mother put up new curtains - not to mention the four spiders and their respective cobwebs that were inhibiting my room - but I'm sure I will readjust. I think I have learned a lot from going on this trip but my best memories involve the people that I shared it with...like the time the hotel locked me and someone else in the garden unknowingly. | |
