| Society is messed up, as I'm sure all of you know. It trys to convince us that we are to get a job, make money, work our way up the "ladder of success", and raise a perfect American family who will eventually do the same thing, over and over again. Our entertainment is for the most part chosen for us, unless we figure out that there's other movies, music, etc. that aren't from Hollywood or on the radio. I think I figured out how to avoid it. It seems the only thing to do is walk away and say "Fuck it." To hell with it all, I want no part in it. And hopefully I'm not buying into another stereotype. Please let me know if you suspect I am. So fuck society. *walks away* |

wyrmofdrow | 07-24-03 8:01pm it is true that american society is messed up, and although i dont live in the excited states, it has a great influence on how i live my life here in canada as well...the only real way to escape it is to leave it...in order to survive in north america, it is not possible to not contribute to the society...whenever you spend money, or work to gain money, you contribute to it...saying "fuck it" isnt enough...only Hermits truly refute the society...
