| so the concert was absolutely AMAZING! man, she can sing like no other. honestly.. i don't really dig people live. like sometimes i might d/l a live version of a song... and it'll totally suck. i always assumed it's the lack of atmosphere, cause being there is so very different than sitting in your room. but then i made a live cd of coldplay stuff recently... they sounded fine. and i saw the smashing pumpkins, i know it just wasn't the actual being there that made it fantastic (although i am very picky about their live stuff). even kelly osbourne kicked some ass live. and that's saying something. but tori just blew me away. i think she soudned even better live than a studio recording. no britney spears here! but yea. the seats were good. kinda funky, cause they were to the side but up on this terrace thing. but it was cool to be up higher and get a better view. i got kinda freaked out though cause i was by the edge. but i'm good as long as stuff doesn't like move. (one reason why you will never see me too close to the railing on the second story of the montclair mall... cause of the building being all earthquake proof roller style) anyways, off track there. but yea, we were outside which was nice. oh yea, the whole playing two pianos at once.... talent much! that and she looked like an angel... i relate people to weird things yes. but she had this flowly long shirt thing and the way the lights were setup she looked all glowly most of the time. but on the screen deals they had you could see that she was wearing jeans and her top was actually striped. so it wasn't totally angel like ;o) and she ruled cause she didn't play all new stuff. it was random things really. like she knew what sounded best and went together well. she's also crazy cause she did two encores. after singing for a while too. and she had super cute t-shirts!! i didn't wanna pick just one :o( but i got a ringer tee deal. cute mm hmm. my overall rating 9/10. (will anyone ever recieve a 10 from me? who knows!) mmm... i'm dead tired. |
