| Who would have thought that 5/7 blues songs are in the key of A or E? I knew they were popular keys for blues, but c'mon, that's really popular....Anyhow, I spent a few minutes compiling a numer of blues songs that aren't dominated by guitar to put on a cd, after figuring out their key, to be able to jam and practice along to. Maybe even learn the songs by ear. What I learned is that Ray Charles has a great blues voice, and Muddy Waters is the man! I also found a really cool song by him that I might introduce at open mic night. Lots o fun. For anyone that doesn't know already, there is a party at my house on Sunday at 7/8pm (no school on monday, yay!).
