well overall today was a sucky day. i was supposed to go to the movies with dan today but he never called me back so that got scratched. instead i wrote a college essay. my mom didnt like it because she said it was too cocky. i wrote that the college should accept me because one day i'll be famous and they will be able to put in their broshures that justin braun graduated from their school. i thought it was a good idea. oh well. after that i did my cleaning lady duties, ugh so annoying. i'm getting so sick of doing that every week. its good money but its so tiring. i was trying to burn a CD while i was cleaning but my CD burner on my computer isnt working and i wasted 2 CDs to realize that. damn it i hate this computer, i cant freaking wait until i get my new computer. well after i cleaned i ate some dinner, it was seafood night. yum. well then i watched "Crossroads" yes the britney spears movie. i always say i hate pop stars' movies, well this was no exception. it was a horrible movie, britney cant act for shit and neither can any of her co-stars. the story was stupid and predictable. but its actually one of the lesser evils of the pop star movies. it wasnt as bad as "A Walk To Remember" but it still wasnt as good as "From Justin To Kelly" which is my fav pop star movie. but this movie kept me entertained plus i am a britney fan, not a britney actress fan but a britney pop star fan. ok well after that i started working on my demo. yes my demo. as you know my dad is a music writer/publisher and he has a ton of songs that he's written that no one has sang, so i asked him to give me some. he gave me this awesome song that is actually from this musical that my dad and his friend are writing. its mad powerful and has great accompaniment. so i worked on that tonight, my dad is also going to find me a good pop song i can put on my demo. I'm hoping to release this demo in either October or November, we'll see how it goes. ok so thats all for the day. hopefully this week wont suck. hasta

jeremy | 09-14-03 10:52pm I don't like the way you speak about my Britney. Crossroads was awesome, as was A walk to remember. I definitley had to use a few tissues during that one. Eew, no, not in that way. |
JB1863 | 09-14-03 11:20pm Jeremy I think you are blinded here. I look at movies and performances completely unbiased so i can get a real opinion. You cant possibly sit there and tell me that those movies were good. The acting was HORRIBLE. Crossroads only got 1 star and i'm sure A Walk to Remember didnt get much more. I'm a britney fan myself but i just think she should stick to what shes good at. Leave acting to the real actors |
skittlicious | 09-14-03 11:28pm I agree with you on Crossroads, that the acting was horrible, but I dont agree about A Walk to Remember, im not going to say that the movie was 'amazing' or anything, but it was a decent movie, and the acting was good. :-\ |
JB1863 | 09-14-03 11:34pm A Walk To Remember had better acting then Crossroads but it had a worse story line. It was completely crazy, i sat there and laughed because they threw so many twists and curves in there. I found it completely unrealistic. They tried to be dramatic but they were just ridiculous |

jeremy | 09-14-03 11:33pm I do have to admit that Britney wasnt amazing in Crossroads, but she wasn't horrible. However, A Walk To Remember was good script, good acting, good everything. Sorry Justin, I can't take the opinion of someone who liked From Justin To Kelly. Read about this stuff in the article I wrote about bad movies in the school paper coming out in a couple of weeks. |
JB1863 | 09-14-03 11:36pm Read what i posted right above your post. Sorry but i cant take the opinion of someone who liked Camp. From Justin To Kelly was a HORRIBLE movie. It had the stupidest story line, SO unrealistic, it had the worst actors you can hire, but what i liked about it was it was just a feel good movie, they werent trying to be something they're not. It was two pop stars making a movie musical. |
Anonymous | 09-14-03 11:55pm If your going to dislike A Walk to Remember than you have to realize that the movie is based on the book by Nichloas Sparks. So if it does seem unrealistic, it's not the actors' fault but the author's. And the book is better than the movie. |
JB1863 | 09-14-03 11:58pm I dont blame the actors for it being unrealistic, i blame the screen writers. I have never read the book so i dont know whats different or the same about it. I just think it was poorly written and poorly executed. |
aiken4clay15 | 09-15-03 5:37pm i'm going to do the three of you a favor and offer a fresh perspective. jeremy (or jerry, as i now call you), as much as i love you, you def have a biased opinion about Crossroads. I guarantee you that you wouldn't find it so fabulous if Britney wasn't in it. All in all, not a terrible flick...the acting needs serious work, but what can you expect from a pop star? A Walk to Remember was decent. With that kind of depressing story-line, you're going to cry at the end no matter which actress has the lead. Not that you could call Mandy Moore an actress. She's adorable, don't get me wrong, but her bigger strength def lies in the vocals. While we're on the subject of pop star divas in movies, has anyone else noticed J. Lo's hair? In every single movie she's been in, he hair looks greasy and unwashed. I couldn't sit through The Wedding Planner without squirming. I wanted to jump into the screen and attack her with shampoo. Gross! Anyway, that's my two cents for what it's worth. Oh, by the way, JB: there is no possible way that this week could suck any more than last week did. Last week was a huge slice of hell. |
JB1863 | 09-15-03 7:22pm Ew JLO. I dont go and see any of her movies, she is a terrible actress and all her movies SUCK!! |
jeremy | 09-15-03 8:47pm I know you did not just say all of Jlos movies suck. Didnt you see the wedding planner, enough, maid in manhattan? Justin, I'm really starting to question what you said in that survey about not doing drugs... |
JB1863 | 09-15-03 11:33pm I didnt see either of those films. Why? Because JLO had already lost me as a fan. I hate watching her on screen. |
