UntilTheEnd | your heading thingy, 09-20-03 2:15pm your are so true about the "punk" thing.....there was this big problem at school. the "punk" thing was going around and everyone started wearing clothes and saying they listen to such and such band and they thought they were punks. and so ever chance i get when i see people commentinga bout punk i ask. do you label people.? i know there are always going to be the groups and waht not. but seriously no one can belong to just one group and say that theyare are in a certain group and be fully commited to just staying that one person. bc people change.and i always thought that people thought iwas a "poser" i listen to the punk bands or watever but i wear whatever i want.. i dont just wear like "punk clothes" and whatever.im probally just making a complete idiot out of myself right now. but i just want your opinon. |
andi | Re: your heading thingy, 09-20-03 4:34pm Dude, I agree w/ yeas. Every year the "preps" turn into "punk". The ones at where i live do that just b/c they think it's cute. lol. It always makes my laugh. Same w/ dressing like a skater. I am a skater, I do dress like it too and my friends are just like "oo That's soo cute! I love ur cloths! I want to be a ska8r now." I just think ppl become "punks" and "Skaters" for the wrong reasons. I become a sk8r b/c I fell in love w/ the sport. I just believe that even though u listen to bands like nirvana, or goldfinger or heck blink182, doesn't mean that ur punk. It's just the type of music u like. That's why I said on the heading part that I guess in the end we're all posers, b/c i think everyone (even me) are just being what the ppl want us to be, like our friends or it's b/c the trend. There is no "real" people no more.
