I went to see the House of the Dead on Sunday, and I can honestly say it was a waste of money. Not only was it extremely predictable, it instituted scenes from the video game, as well as the running scenes from Blair Witch, and also the Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and finally, Rambo. Also, if you're still interested and you're an epileptic, if you see it, you will die. It flashes a lot. And for those of you that have played the game, do you remember how the screen turns red and your body spins around? Yeah, they do that for everyone who dies, and only one person survives. I'm gonna let her pick the movies from now on... | |

Randomperson | 10-21-03 5:45pm Video games (especially horror games)turned movies tend to go bad... Resident Evil, Fatman? A Silent Hill Movie is the works. That might be good. It might break the mold. Final Fantasy Unlimited... I'll skip that. (But "The Spirits Within" was good... sure it wasn't your myth-and-black-mage-and-chocobo story, but it was fun.) Did you also hear they're in talks for both a Final Fantasy X (or X2) movie, and are currently making a FFVII DVD? |
Fatman | Re:, 11-04-03 12:10pm Yes, they are creating a FFVII movie, set five years after the completion of the game. All I know is that it is entirely CGI, and that Cloud and Sephiroth are in it. |
