im determined ot get out of this rut. i dont want to end up living at home for the next few years. i dont want to wake up every morning going to a dead-beat job that i absolutely despise. i wanna make somehting of myself. i wanna help others. i wanna be independent. i think im gunna go to grand valley, stay in a dorm, and hopefully fall into a major that i love. but i dunno.

Jill,
I believe that you can make something of yourself. You seem to be really good at helping people, so I could definitely see you doing something in social work. But most importantly, it should be something that you love to do. By the way, thanks of the little advice/motivational pep talk : )
