This is wierd. "Expressing the sense of Congress regarding the primary author and the official home of 'Yankee Doodle'"? "Recognizing the importance of blues music"? "To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 1502 East Kiest Boulevard in Dallas, Texas, as the "Dr. Caesar A.W. Clark, Sr. Post Office Building"? Nice to know our government is giving us our money's worth. :) I wonder what they do in there. Why do they need pay raises? Are all the branches of government utilizing the system of checks and blances correctly? I know the legislative branch was meant to do all the talking, but it seems like they could be talking about better things. Granted, I just picked out the weird ones, and there are a few good ones in there... but there are still homeless people here, there's still elderly people who can't afford their doctor's medicines, and there are millions of people outside our country who are in trouble with hunger and oppression. Who's supposed to help them? The government? Or maybe the common people? It seems like it should be both, and neither are cooperating... Oh well. I'll try to do my part, I guess. |
