The associate at K-Mart was extremely helpful and genuine when I went there this morning. It made what I had to do just a little bit easier. Thank you for that, miss. I have an open inquiry to any readers out there: When you are in your car, and you are jamming out to whatever the CD of choice is, do you use your own voice to sing along or do you mimic the lead singer of the band/artist and their own vocal characteristics? Please respond... inquiring minds want to know. |

michellestar | 12-23-03 1:06pm I try to mimic the voices of the band. :P |
goldberry | sing-alongs, 12-23-03 1:10pm I usually mimic the singer's voice in particular songs: "Respect" by Aretha, "Stairway to Heaver", "'Talkin' About My Generation" by The Who...

polishpimping | Re: sing-alongs, 12-23-03 2:06pm It heavily depends on the song.

jedibumblebee | 12-23-03 10:55pm I always mock vocal characteristics, except for when I was in musicals, because then it spoils the originality of the show. Maybe you already knew that....

syrk1 | hehe, 12-23-03 11:31pm I usually belt out the lyrics knowing I sound awful. Why sing it unless you make it your own?

Metelhed84 | Re: hehe, 12-24-03 3:55am I cannot sing many songs that i love (my voice cannot reach any high notes without cracking horribly) so i pretty much just belt them out. I can do a few of my bands (easy ones like No One or pissing razors) but stuff like death metal is impossible, its surprisingly hard to do. |
lostinthecrowd | 12-29-03 1:06am i mimic the lead singer, unless it's a really deep voice, then i just sing like the chick that i am! lol ::wink:: |
