| Subject: Looong Day |

| Let me start off by saying I got ONE HOUR of sleep this morning. After I finished my report I stayed up reading Great Expectations (just 25 pages out of the 490 to go). Surprisingly I was more alert in school today than I usually am when I get more sleep. Mrs. Brooks put me on the spot by making me get up at the podium and talk about my china trip. Mrs. Alexander did a similar thing, and either my classmates had some ounce of interest or they just wanted to stall class as long as possible. I also went around distributing my gifts today. At 5:30 the play was officially commenced. We went through all the formalities (rules and whatnot) and had a read-through, which we couldn't even finish. That play is actually very funny. Billy's part is hilarious how he's constantly in disquise and has to use different accents. Lena does her Bonnie accent pretty well. I'm not too sure about my accent, but some of my lines are kinda funny. I'm excited for play this year. | |
