| Elizabeth Artecki Mr. Norkus A.P. American History 10 January 2004 Holocaust Revisionism The Holocaust never happened! There were no death camps. Zyklon B was not used to kill humans. There were no gas chambers. Hitler did not have a master plan to kill Jews and eyewitnesses claiming any of these things are unreliable. First of all, there were no death camps. There were Prisoner of War camps, similar to the wartime actions of the Western Allies and the Soviet Union. The only significant difference was that the Germans took prisoners only if they thought that they would be a threat to the war effort, while Soviets took prisoners based on race alone. This presents the question, “Why were Jews a threat?” Jews were overwhelmingly represented in communist subversion, therefore, they were considered a threat. Also on March 24, 1933 The London Daily express had the headline, “Judea Declares War on Germany!” This was eight years before German concentration camps. The gas supposedly used for exterminations was Zyklon B. It is an insecticide used to fumigate the clothes and the living quarters from Typhus-bearing lice. Auschwitz commandant Rudolph Hoess said that the bodies would be removed ten minutes after the executions took place. This is impossible because it takes at least twenty hours for an area to ventilate after Zyklon B is used. Another eyewitness recalls watching German soldiers smoking cigarettes while pulling bodies from the chambers. This is also impossible because Zyklon B is highly explosive. There were no gas chambers used to exterminate Jews. There were fumigation chambers used to clean clothes. Auschwitz was modified after is was captured by Soviets, and a room was constructed to look like a gas chamber. Fred Leuchter, America’s leading expert on gas chamber design and construction inspected this and other chambers and stated that it was an absurdity to say that they were or could ever be used for executions. Hitler did not have a master plan and there are no documents to prove the holocaust. Spokesmen for the Holocaust Lobby assure us that there are tons of documents to prove the holocaust. When asked they can only produce a handful of documents, all having questionable authenticity. When pressed for reliable documentation they change the story claiming that all the relevant document were destroyed or that the Germans used code language in order to disguise their evil deeds. Eyewitness accounts are unreliable. During after the war there were many eyewitnesses to mass murders in gas chambers at many concentration camps but today virtually all recognized scholars dismiss this testimony as false. Many eyewitnesses testified that Germans made soap from human fat and lampshades from human skin. Allied prosecutors even produced evidence to support these charges, but in May of 1990 Yehuda Bauer, Director of Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University admitted that the Germans never made soap or lampshades from Jews. Why would people support the Holocaust story? The story protects Jews as a group from protect Jews as a group from criticism and it is used to justify U.S. aid to Israel. It is used by Christians to justify the old testament notion of Jews as holy and eternally persecuted chosen people. The Holocaust also diverts attention from Soviet and British war mongering during and after World War II. So, after hearing the “evidence” about how a chapter of history never happened a person has to wonder: How did millions of people die? How can so many people be lying? How did countless photographers come up with pictures from the same horrific event? Have we been lied to all of our lives? Do books like Anne Frank’s diary and Night by Elie Wiesel belong in the fiction section? In the end you have to decide for yourself. |
