The universe is infinite. Father Bernot said something during his homily that triggered that thought. There are two possibilities: 1) God is infinite or 2) God does not exist. There have been moments where, for some reason or another, I have had reason to believe that God existed. Now, I have forgotten those reasons. But then I think about life. In comparrison to the universe, humans are miniscule...ants are microscopic. If there is life bigger than ants, there must be life bigger than humans. Another thing I thought about was why us? Out of the entire universe, all the galaxies, all the planets, all the possibile life out there...why would God choose to create US as his people? I don't know.

On an unrelated note, some wierd things I've thought about/experienced: What is Will, my best friend from elementary, like today? What would I be like if I never left kzoo? There's a cycle to mocking. I witnessed it at the NHS when someone said something about someone else, and then at play practice when that "someone else" said something about another person. Finally, the other night, just before i feel asleep, I heard a quick, loud sound..kinda like an amplified clap. I think the sound was either in my head, or my hearing become more sensitive at that moment. It was weird because right when it happened I didn't know where I was wrong or what danger I was in. For some reason I thought I was on a plane that was going down.

Dude! I think we go to the same church! Either that, or we both live in Muskegon Michigan and attend two different catholic churches with two Father Burnot running the services of each one.

Two Father Bernots? I don't know if I could handle that. I'll go with your first choice. St. Mary's, downtown, I take it? What service do you usually go to?

Historically it has been the 5 o'clock mass, but lately I've been going to the morning one because I have to go to confirmation classes

5 o'clock, huh? I go to that mass every weekend. I might've seen you there. Sometimes I get bored (especially during homilies) and I look at the different people at church (yeah, I know I'm going to hell). What do you look like? Do you go with your family? You know, I could've been your sponsor for confirmation...but then again, I'm still questioning my own faith.

Yeah, just recently I discovered just how much faith it really takes to believe in christianity. Yeah, I'm a tall gorky lookin kid with sort-of long hair. I go with my mom, my brother, and my sister usually.

You know...I might have a general idea of who you and your family are, but then I could be completely wrong. What grade are you in anyways? Right around the time of confirmation, and usually long after, you wil still question your faith (at least I do), but I think it's good to still be confirmed. I have a friend who didn't sign up with me, and now he will probably never be "sealed with the spirit." You sound honest about your faith, which is good.
