| My sister, who turns 13 this Saturday, went into teenage-angst mode at my mother and I just a few minutes ago. My mother, I am proud to say, kept her cool as my sister shouted at us blabbing on and on about something completely pointless. My job as an older sister is to aggravate the situation and I must admit I succeeded though I much rather prefer I didn’t. She pinched my arm…hard and punched me in the back more than once. When I shouted at my mother, I got slapped. Hannah just shouted and shouted before stomping up to her room, slamming her door and pounding on it a few times. I remember doing that. I got slapped though. No retribution for Hannah. I feel ashamed. Was I that awful? Probably. I feel bad about it now. |
