To address Miss Roccaforte's question: This image and the caption "Marriage is love" is to support gay marriage. This my friends is the real civil rights issue of our generation just as women's rights and black rights are civil issues past and present. The world is scared of homosexuals and therefore is trying to forbid the ultimate way to show love for another human being for them. Think about how you would feel if you could not marry the one you loved, not to mention have to live with ridicule and prejudice simply to be with this person. When two people of any sex, race, religion, or anything are in love, that is all that should matter. But it isn't to many people. And so I chose to put this image in my blog because I believe with all my heart that gay marriage should be allowed. Marriage is love, and should not be about ANYTHING else. |
