| Why is high school taught so early in the morning? I'm in BST again, a class they really shouldn't have for first hour. Why do we have to get up? Do they want everything to be a secret? "Well son, what did you learn today in BST?" "Uh... well... umm... damn. Must have been drunk, dad." "It's ok son. I did the same thing for economics." I don't understand the point. Although after school activities would suck, I would rather get more shut eye. Track would be really bad. Could go on until five or six o' clock. That's not meets either! My theory is they don't want you to learn, so they make you get up at ungodly hours doing stuff thats hard enough in the afternoon. Its hard to pay attention to business edicate in BST out of one bloodshot eye. Must be something we can do. Sleep in? Ah well. We can't fix it. Everybody else is too freakin lazy to fix it too. Thats all we are now, lazy................................................................................. lazy and sometimes stupid. But my point is the fact that we have to get up way early. Someone can bitch at me (Spud) about whining, but I'm kind of serious. If they know that theres a good chance we won't catch even half of what they say, whats the point? I remember coming out of BST, right out the door and having no memory of what previously occured. Sometimes I'm alert, but its rare. Not trying to whine, but its something to think about. |

unwanted | Heh, 04-17-02 7:27pm I agree, school is way too early. Half of us aren't even awake during the first 3 hours anyway, so what's the point? Maybe teachers like wasting their time. Who knows. |
