| I was having an ok day. Then mom calls. Celestica is closing, so sometime between now and October she will be losing her job. She’ll get a severance package: one weeks pay for every year worked, plus all her vacation, so once she gets canned, she should have about 5 months worth of normal pay, plus unemployment. She just flipped out though and bitched to me for an hour. I guess it’s a big deal because she makes almost twice as much as dad does, but with that much time to find a new job, there shouldn’t be any problem. She just wanted to be her normal self: overemotional. |
