Oh and by the way, you can still live abroad and not know a language. My friend is in Japan and doesn't know any japanese. Or just go to England...easy way out. Europe rox and I'd recommend going there to anyone. It changes you.

Yeah, I know I could survive in a foreign country w/out learning the language, but to really immerse myself in the culture like the way I would want to, I'd want to know the language. England is great to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there; too drab and cold. And as for the Europe thing, I know what you are saying, I will always have great memories from my experiences "across the pond."
