| I LOVE NIKKI'S POEM SO DAMN MUCH!!!!!! IT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST!! MUAH I LOVE YOU NIKKI SHERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here it is..... Tiny ScarZzZ The once raspberry abrasions are now tiny white lines that no one can see. I want them to see the markings. I want them to see what pain made me do. I want them to understand what I went through. I rub my scars and scratch them lightly so my arm becomes red and the white lines shine through like a light. I like seeing the scars again, even though they are old. My scars tell me a story, a story I like to remember, a story I will always keep. Even though it's a story of hard times and despair, to me it's a story of how strong I was to get through all of it, without dying. I'm glad I went through it. just to know what it was like, feeling all the pain go out with the single swipe of the knife. Yes, those tiny scars tell me a story, a story I like to remember and a story I will always keep. i love this poem..its very true.... |
