I'll be the first to admit that I know more about Greek and Norse mythology than my own religion.

And that upsets me.

Don't let it, I don't know much about my own religion but I know more than most, (those who aren't in my religion) That counts for something.

Think of it that way.

it should

learn about your religion, and it's history.

Then, you can take it a step further and learn about other contemporary religions. Or even ancient ones. They're all equally valid.
