*sigh*

I let my little sister borrow the laptop for longer than her allotted time frame, and I get it back riddled with viruses and wierd cookies and pop-up programs and whoknowswhatelse. It might as well have its disk drive stuffed with mud.

Apparently, from looking at the history, she fell for 'free mp3' scams. I can't beleive she'd be that stupid.

Poop.

[update 9:20 PM]

Hmm... I might have found the source of one of the pop-up apps. Please pray it's gone.

[update 10:15]

My dad got a new version of Ad-Ware, which took out a bunch of stuff except for one pop-up app that I'm trying to hunt down. It keeps changing its filename and its tough and I'm tired. I'll deal with it tomorow.

Tools - Internet Options - Delete Cookies and um Delete Files too. Do that every so often.

You need a virus killer thing.

Good luck beyond that.

Love you.

YOU'RE no such thing as luck.

I say "good luck" because I think it's a pretty trivial thing to pray for and I always worry about bugging God or whining. I always think I ask for too much.

Blah blah me me blah.

So good luck. Yup. Have fun on board. Wish I was there.

Anyway, I hope you get it all um gone.

I did- it found stuff and deleted it, but it all came back under different file names. Honestly, who are the basterds that sit around and design these things?

Thanks anyway, I'll keep checking up at that site until it dissapears.

Re: Re: Re:, 05-20-04 11:45pm

Sorry, Rachel I didn't mean to make you mad. And God doesn't care if what we ask Him is small or not, He's willing to help. "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" (Matt 7:9-11).

True, there are some bigger things we could pray for, and if you see them please call our attention to them- as I will try to do in the future. Someone told me once that God's on the edge of His seat waiting for us to ask Him for things.
