| It was sports day at school today, and for the first year since about year four I got away with doing no events. I got a lecture from the parents about how disappointed they were in me, but it was worth it since I got out of doing sports. It's not as if I was just lazing around all afternoon either, I was selling ice creams with my friends to raise money for charity. My sister's got a school trip tomorrow, and she came and asked to borrow my walkman. I grudgingly agreed, and it meant I had to charge it, and then take all my CDs out of my CD case thingy so she could use it. I wouldn't be as irritated as I am if it wasn't for the fact she has an iPod. Great. So it's ok to risk losing your sister's precious precioous walkman, which she uses every day, but it's not ok to risk losing your iPod which does nothing but sit and collect dust for months on end. |
