| Well. Today started out quite uneventful but turned out really awesome. My sister and I watched The Sixth Sense. I had only watched it once before (on the bus back from Cedar Point in eighth grade) but I fell asleep during it then. I already knew everything about it so it could've been a lot better but I thought it was pretty cool. Ben called while we were watching the deleted scenes and asked if I wanted to hang out. I couldn't because my parents were gone (this was while it was still light out...they still are gone) and I had to watch not only my siblings but also my brother's friend. Later, (I don't know what time it was... past 7) my sister said, "someone's setting off fireworks" and we could hear the screeching noise of some sort of noisemaker. The door opened and my brother said, "it's Rachel's friends!" Jackie, Ben and Brett showed up and we hung around for a little bit before watching a bit of Unbreakable then watching Signs. Nick showed up around 11. Everyone headed home before midnight. It was pretty awesome. I don't think everyone has ever hung out at my house before. I'm glad they all showed up. I had fun. I love you all. P.S. I called my parents to tell them that people were over so I wouldn't get in trouble if they came home while everyone was still there. My dad told me to get Brett Bretterson's autograph on a napkin. It had to say: "To Rachel's dad, I think of you always. Love, Brett Bretterson" And you wonder why I'm insane... |
