| I can't believe classes start tomorrow, do you know I'm actually kind of scared? *sigh* College would be so much fun without the classes. Not too much happened during the week, I just took care of some errands and relaxed around the dorm. Danielle Harder and her sister got here Thursday night but I couldn't go clubbing with them because I didn't have a ride. Richelle came over for a little while instead though, it was the first time I'd seen her since we got up here because she's been rushing. She quit it though, it costs wayy too much money that she and her parents don't have. There's not many people that do. I still hadn't mentioned to my roommate that a guy (steve) would be staying with us Saturday and Sunday nights so even though I knew she wouldn't really have a problem with it, I still spent the day sucking up to her. My parents sent a care package with a lot of movies in it and she had never seen Wayne's World, so I set her up watching that while I went to the mall. When I got back I ordered pizza and breadsticks, and she had mentioned that she had never seen Something About Mary either so I popped that in and stuffed her with pizza and bread without letting her pay for any of it. Laura finally came home Friday too! Richelle picked me up and we went to dinner with Laura, Alberto, Andres, and Cara. It was so much fun and it was a great feeling to know that this wasn't some vacation I was taking up here again, this was how it was always going to be with all of us up here. From there we went to Laura's new apartment which wasn't furnished yet but was still nice. Then we went to Lelis' apartment and hung out there for a while. Steve called me there to tell me that he wasn't coming up this weekend after all, Cheesecake Factory changed the training dates to this Sunday. I know we're supposed to be broken up but I was still really looking forward to him coming up to visit and it hurt a lot that he wasn't now. Just another disappointment. I don't understand how I can see Alberto and Alejandro and the rest of them make sure they get somewhere they said they were going, like when Applebee's scheduled Alberto to work Valentine's Day and he refused to go in, but Steve always ends up letting other things come up that he supposedly can't miss, again like Valentine's Day, except he actually worked it. After a while everyone headed over to Danielle's friend's house for the party. It was actually pretty lame though and there were a bunch of people from high school that Richelle and I didn't like so we didn't stay long. We went back to Lelis', turned on some music and the strobe light and danced and ate pizza the rest of the night. Oscar taught me the merengue. Richelle dropped me off at my dorm about 4:30 and I was really afraid of waking up my roommate until I saw a note on the door that she wasn't going to be home that night. I didn't get to sleep very long Saturday morning because she came home at a little after 10 and I couldn't fall back asleep for more than an hour. I just kind of hung around the room for the day, talking with Steve online almost the entire day. Most of the conversation was not a fun one, I was still upset about him missing the weekend. Alejandro called me wanting to go clubbing, but he and the guys didn't get to my dorm until after midnight. Laura''s mom had come up for the weekend so she was with her and Richelle was with some of Andres' friends so it was just Daniela and I in the female group. After Jet-set we went to Lelis' again where Richelle met up with us. We played Domino's and cards and danced with the stobe light again. I got home again by 5 in the morning. I was completely passed out until Alejandro called me at 1 in the afternoon and woke me up. My roommate was already gone (and she still hasn't come back, I rarely see her now). He and the guys wanted to go to the Springs, but an hour later it was raining and lightening like crazy so plans were cancelled and I got to go back to bed. Now I just finished watching Men In Tights and eating pizza and I feel like another nap. Love you all |
