| Hey! Alright, this week went alot better. I've started to make some friends so thats good. everyone is sooo nice, it just seemed as if everyone was a little shy to begin with. I was also invited to this girl's (also named Lisa) party. That was last night. it was alot of fun. it was at like a club house and about 30 people showed up. most of them were from the class but a few i didnt recognize. I had 2 drinks...weee fun! its cool that you can drink when your 18 over here. they had beer, cider, and someother stuff. i stopped after 2 since i felt a little too tipsy to drink more. After about an hour of me sitting mostly alone and chatting here and there, screaming over the music, this really hot guy came up and talked to me. that was really cool. he was nice and yeah, we talked for a while....i cant remember his name though..i couldnt hear over the blaring music. so that was fun. when i was going to leave, like at midnight, these 2 guys asked me where i was going and were asking me not to leave. wow! that was a first! one of them was pretty hot too! so i stopped and talked to them and stuff which was sooo awesome since everyone is so nice over here and dont give a crap about social status and stuff, it just doesnt exist over here which is such a relief! so i talked to them for a while, though i could tell the one was really drunk, but it was funny. soo ill see them in school or at another party. im so happy i got out of the house and was brave enough to go to a party with no one i know very well. but it all worked out for the best. i also got invited by some people to go to town one day and go to some of the pubs and clubs with them, since i havent done that yet. yay! things are looking up! i didnt think id say this, but drinking and partying (not too much) is SOOO much fun! i was always kind of against the whole drinking thing, but now i know what its like. dont get me wrong, this doesnt mean that im going to go out and drink all the time, but i know i can have 2 drinks without getting wasted...tipsy is just fine for now. so other than that, not much going on. kinda hard to type and sing at the same time. this band rocks. he he! oo there are so many hot guys over here! WAY better than the states. and everyones sooo nice. this just gets better and better later! |
