| Hey all. Sorry I haven't been on much, the internet is still having trouble getting to my room. Being on the 8th floor and it being on the 4th, I kind of understand why. Since all of you have posted what your first day of school was like, I'll say what mine was like, since today was my first day. So today and Thursdays I have my Intro to Computer class, and my Shakespeare class. I was kinda nervous about my computer class because it was my first college class and all, but after a while you get used to it. Also, it was strange because it was in a room bigger than the LGI and almost full. But it's a general education class so they fill up pretty quick. I think my French class might be like that. Dammit. Anyway, my Shakespeare class was really cool. The professer reminds me of a younger, more attractive, more energetic Mr. Watson. He's not cute, but more cute than Watson. The class reminded me very much of high school. It was small, in a small room with windows and such and we sat there for most of the class watching a movie about Richard III because that's the first play we're reading. I want to read Taming of the Shrew, but we're not doing that. Oh wel. And on Tuesdays I have a computer lab for my computer class but not this week, so next week I begin that. Uh, I think that's all for now. And if you check my journal once and a while, you'll be able to tell how I feel about staying here. Oyasumi nasai. |
