Subject: Another campus visit... |
|
So I checked out MSU today. It was cool. Today was the first time I visited a college when classes were actually happening. So yeah. I actually saw some prospective classmates. MSU has a really pretty campus, but it's huge. So that presents a problem. But as long as you can read a map and pay attention to the signs, it's manageable. Dorm rooms are really tiny. I'll have to figure out how to fit my gee-tars in. There's some huge lecture halls at State. They biggest ones have like 600 seats. So that would be easy to skip :p Not that I'd skip, of course. MSU has a ton of study abroad programs. They've got one that goes to France and one other country (I can't remember which) about the post-modern world. Which is awesome. East Lancing is a pretty cool town. Not as cool as Ann Arbor, but I've never seen anywhere outside of WI that is. Elderly Instruments is there. That's one of the biggest guitar stores in the country. I saw a hippy guy walking barefoot down the street. Um so yeah, I'm done. | |

Shinigami | 09-03-04 9:36pm Yeah, MSU is huge. Most of their general education classes are probably the biggest classes they have, and then the other ones are maybe 50 or less. It depends. I dunno. |
