The past two days have been generally quite wonderful. ^-^

Friday afternoon, literally about five seconds after I got out of Ethics class, Alex and Sarah grabbed me and the three of us went to Jun Lee, a wholesale oriental jewelry/accessory shop not terribly far from Rhodes. Cheaply priced stuff abounds there, since it's wholesale. Their only stipulation is that you must buy thirty dollars' worth of merchandise, and you can't return or exchange anything. But that's fine, 'cause I'm easily able to get a good thirty dollars' worth in there. They had awesome stuff! I bought some really ornate pens in a 12-pack that cost only ten bucks. Alex chose some jewelry and a little jewelry box that totalled a little over twenty bucks, so we combined ours to meet the $30 rule. Sarah bought so much stuff that I can't remember beyond two purses....

Anyhoo, after that we went to Animax, one of my favorite haunts. They sell everything that has to do with anime and manga. I bought some Sailor Moon playing cards. XD From there we went to Alex's house in Cordova, because she wanted to show us the extremely random rabbit fur coat that Scott gave her (for non-Rhodents: Scott and Alex have been dating for almost a year now). Scott likes showering her with gifts, which is very sweet and very nice of him, but a rabbit fur coat.... It's just random. I like gifts just as much as the next girl, but the kinds of gifts I like probably aren't as obvious. And if they are, I need to work on my feminine mystique. >_>

But I digress. After that, we went to a Thai restaurant there in Cordova called Pontip. It was quite delicious! The fried tofu left something to be desired, but the spring rolls and my Pad See Ew with sticky rice was most yummy. We stopped at TCBY after that, then came back to Rhodes. A lovely girls' outing for the three of us. ^-^

Fast forward to yesterday night. Alex, Kelly, Jimmy, Ginny, and I went rollerblading/skating at Cordova Skate Center. Woooo, lots of fun! And I didn't even fall down once! Happy times. ^-^
