It's funny...someone was absent from Stats today. So, during the middle of class, he calls someone's cell phone and asks to speak to Dr. Baum. He tells her that he's out voting, and she informs him that 'that's not an excused absence, you know.' It was ok though, b/c it was Dr. Baum and he was going to come in 7th hour ;) I don't know if Mrs. Zap's as nice as Dr. Baum, though...good luck, Lauren ;)
Oh, and b/c my comment for the last entry was erased....
As annoying as the 8th-graders were, I'm kinda disappointed that nearly all of them aren't coming here. We won't be able to whip them into shape...I'd be so looking forward to knocking some sense into them ;)

Yeah, Ms Zap marked me absent even though I was voting for Kerry. Ahh, c'est la vie.

And yeah, I think I talked to one 8th grader who was even considering ATL. Small freshman class for you guys next year, looks like.
