I find it funny that all of the freshmen.. and others have all the black stuff on their face to "rebell" against the school for the gay kid getting in trouble for having it. They think they are "Non Comformist" As far as i am concerned they can have the right to wear it.. "but it doesnt make it any less of a dumb ass idea.." (Mitch) thanks for that quote

so while i am sitting here pretending to be a TA.. i decided to make this..

Reasons why you are not a non conformist

A non-conformist is someone who chooses not to conform to a set of beliefs or practices of a greater society.

Conformity is the act of maintaining a certain degree of similarity (in clothing, manners, etc.) to those in your general social circles

A society is a group of individuals that form a semi-closed system, in which most interactions are with other individuals belonging to the group

You are also not in a “Rebellion”

A rebel is a person active in rebellion

A rebellion is an armed resistance

Therefore you are not “Non Conformist” And you are not “Rebels”, so quit whining about how people discriminate against you because you are different. When in fact people think lower of you because you are a victim of the latest fashion statement that can be found at your local “Hot topic”

And yes this is in my "Own personall opinion" For any of you who dont like it.. well tough.. i reserve the right to express my opinions in any matter in which i feel is necessary... if you dont like it.. dont read my journal.

Like I said in Drama. It's a whole group of "Anti-conformists" conforming by drawing the same exact thing on their faces. It's not unique. It's a lame ass excuse to look like rebels, and to be against something. Like Mr.H said, choose your battles. Don't fight for something stupid.

funny fact being that all of those "punks" coughcough look down upon people wearing labeled clothes, abercrombie, american eagle and whatnot. HOT TOPIC is a sub company of THE GAP which is in fact the original "prep" brand. categorizing is stupid
