What can you guys tell me about the bad things that are happening at the high school due to lack of funding? I tried to email Heischetter, but every time I tried to send an email it was sent back. I need this for my final paper for rhetoric, and any info from your point of view or the teachers would be great. | |

threshershark | 12-07-04 3:01pm Classes have trouble getting buses to take class trips to places, and of course the infamous heating cutbacks. It is friggen cold in that pile of bricks. |
shinigami | Re:, 12-07-04 3:21pm Good to know they can keep everyone warm. :/ |
sike-a-delic_grasshopper | 12-07-04 3:22pm It's freezing like always. Play tickets cost more this year- $7 or $8 (don't remember which) as opposed to $5. The art dept has almost no budget as usual. One of our projects for drawing was done on the backs of book covers. So, the arts are definitely suffering. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck on that paper. You should have plenty of evidence ;) |
shinigami | Re:, 12-07-04 3:23pm Yes I should, I remember a ton of stuff that Mr. Heischetter was talking about and it was terrible. He told it like it was at least. |
angel_bob | 12-07-04 10:58pm They shut off every other light in the hall because it'll really matter. It's freezing. No matter what I'm wearing, it's always cold. |
Lavitz1985 | 12-09-04 10:26am In all fairness Rachel, you have nothing to keep the heat in your body. You pretty much need the temperature at the same temp your body is to be warm. Most other girls seem to need 85 to be happy. I've been in the school a few times and their heating isn't so bad. Of course, I can stay warm just about anywhere so it might not mean much from me saying it. |
