Subject: can i really do a password entry now?
does it have to be my woohu pass, or can i make one up?

let's find out!

(edit) i made this public, simply because it was bothering me. i saw no point in writing an entry that only gunnie and i could see, and only he could comment on. and maybe some of you REALLY sorry L33t H@x0rs who are lame enough to want to comment on this.

i therefore conclude, that while it may be extremely beneficial to other users of this site, i find the password security entry completely useless at this given time. maybe later i will discover some unforeseen use for it, but at this point there isn't one for me.

i thought that it was simply an entry which displayed a password prompt, and everyone who i gave the password to would be able to view the entry.

i was sadly mistaken, but would still like to have such a beast, simply for the pure sake of being able to do it, so - gunnie, the next time you're looking for some busywork - keep this in mind.

Password Protected entries are viewable by anyone who has the custom username and password defined in the journal settings at http://www.woohu.com/~spud/private

Still didn't actually test it all the way through. It loaded up, that was a good enough test for me.
