Subject: the pope's funeral.
well, i was flipping through the channels tonight and saw this bit on the pope's casket being carried through the streets of the vatican.

it seems he was the most importiant man in the cathlic community, but he was buried in a $10 box that looked like something a holy fridgerator came in.

Well the Pope did say he wanted to be buried in the bare ground.

Its supposed to make him look humble before god. but honestly, would a man with millions of followers be humble?

There was one casket to symbolize his humanity. Another that was lead. The third was to symbolize his passing and purness of soul (or something). And then if he's buried at the Vatican, which he was, he is put into a marble container.
