Have a '89 GT with no motor or tranny or lights or bumpers or gauges or alot of stuff is missing :D
Thanks loaf

still working on getting that LX thats on 20 mile and algoma.

me and box might turn the GT into a race car since it has good suspension and disk brakes all the way around and is already gutted.
just need to find out some rules or something for grattan.

dude, if you've got a clean body and stuff, totally RACE IT OUT!

i hear grattan's expensive. but if you can find an auto X to race in, then it's all set, baby.

i suspect that the safety regulations at grattan are along the lines of ensuring: structural integrity, no leaky fluids, no faulty mechanics, etc. beyond that, i'd say find a good helmet, and you should be set. although a nice recaro racing bucket would highly enhance the experience.

hope that helps :-) if not ... eh, it was worth a shot.

Definatally a good helmet would be needed that runs like what $200 +

the no leaky fluids is covered.
everything works great.
and definatally need a racing seat, the stock seats in a probe dont hold you in good enough through highspeed corners ( i took the corners on wabasis from 14 to 15 mile doing about 40.) Tires rolled under :( but i could stay in my seat.
But thanks for the advice. you sound like you know what your talking about and such.

get a couple of SHO seats and stick em in there...im sure it would take some engineering but you could do it
