You are going to die. so when you die will you be happy with what you left behind or be pissed about what you cant bring with you? will you go to heaven or hell. will you rot in the ground with no thought of an afterlife. do you simply stop? is it all over? i mean there COULD be something after this couldnt there? what do you think happens when you die? | |

spud | 05-12-05 12:13am i'm kinda playing both sides of the ball on this one. i figure, i'm gonna do what i can to experience everything in this life, just in case you die and that's the end. but i don't want to do anything that may keep me from enjoying anything that happens after death. i tend to lean toward the first one. there are just too many man-made rules to really buy into the heaven vs. hell thing fully. i don't think eternal life, if it exists, is so black and white. i think it's more of an enlightenment. like, we can't really understand god with our human minds. so maybe our souls get better minds that can truly understand. that would be my kind of heaven. |
BigBen61 | 05-12-05 10:43pm I believe there is a heaven and a hell and i believe i'm going to heaven, but you probably already knew that seeing as how you pointed out how i'm such a bad person for have christian morals. |
jim9nin | 05-12-05 10:59pm Maybe what we go through in life and how we handle it is a rule for the heaven and hell thing. But I don't fully believe in that idea for almost the same reasons as Chris I'm kind of along for the ride. I'm going to enjoy it make it worthwhile. |
tails | 05-13-05 1:33am Christins suck. they are the most cult like religion to date, that well isnt an admited cult. but i agree with the pleasure complex of life. live it how its feels best to. fuck a set of man made rules if you behave within societys rules and still are a productive member of soceity whose to say you cant do as you please? |
anachronism | Re:, 05-13-05 11:04am I just know I'd rather live for myself than to follow a set of rules and live to please Him.
