| it really gets on my nerves when you talk to people online, and they're talknig to so many people at once, that they keep answering with short answers every five minutes. " uh-huh"...."yeah"..."Lol"..."yup"...and then when you tell them to talk to you when they're less distracted, they start getting all whiny..."Don't be like that!"...."I'm not distracted!"...thats just annoys me. i have this problem with almost everyone on my contacts list, but most outstandingly, my boyfriend. we'll hang up the phone and tell each other to get online, then he'll be in this distant tone when he's talking. And he's usually talking to 5 other people, rather than me. And im just going to have to wait to talk to him later. Its my biggest pet peeve. Ugh, absurd. So, if you're one of those people, please do me a favor: Pay attention to whoever you're talking to. Just close the other conversations for a while. It doesnt hurt, and it'll show someone that you care. And if you're not one of those people: Thank you. Im sure people really enjoy talking to you online, because you pay attention, and make them feel like they're worth talking to. Caitlin |
