I don't usually make a fuss over celebrity deaths, but this one really jumped out at me...

Don Adams died yesterday. He was 82. For those of you who don't know, he play Maxwell Smart on Get Smart, one of my favorite comedies (nay, shows) on all time. He also did the voice to one of my favorite childhood cartons: Inspector Gadget. Hopefully, his memory will expedite the release of the show on DVD, perhaps the most overdue DVD on TV releases (IMHO) along side Ally McBeal. It's nice to hear that a remake is due with Steve Carell. It's a great casting choice, and it's kind of hard to screw up anything that he's in.

I shed a tear as well for Don Adams.....and I also shed a tear when I read that you want to buy Ally McBeal when it comes out on DVD (wtf)

LOL... nice. What can I say, it's a semi-guilty pleasure. For sure, it went downhill after a while (I actually gave up on it eventually), but those first couple of seasons were great stuff. Overexposure of the Dancing Baby and Calista Flockhart's weight left a bad taste in a lot people's mouths, but I blame the media. :-)
