oh my gosh. i always get fired up when i read things like that... people putting emphasis on one aspect of someone (usually biology) and claiming it controls everything. we might as well start making claims that people are born with genes that destine them to like the color blue or certain car models. kill me now.

also, you should read this book titled "what it means to be 98% chimpanzee." there's a lot of genetics talk in there, which makes it a hard read at times, but since bio is your concentration, i know you could keep up with it. it's a really interesting book... the author clears up myths about the human genome and reminds people not to be so quick to assume that what we see in animals can be directly related to our own behavior, because we have culture, institutions, money, etc. that animals don't have. he also debunks "the bell curve" bullshit as well. i really enjoyed it.
