I like how Alice Cooper said it, "politics and rock should never be mixed, when I would listen to rock as a kid it was when I wanted to get away from politics and world events." and he is actually very polticially active in the republican party, but he doesn't use his music as a tool for it and shuns those that do.

then why did you post to my post about kanye west? even though i said nothing about his political views, but because of his music? i dont care what people say out of song. if they say their fans are all bitches, i still buy their cds. i dont give a fuck if r.a.t.m is political or not. if they werent, id still buy their cds.

music doesnt ALWAYS reflect exactly upon peoples views.

yay for nonsense beligerance, cause you know I hate ratm and never listen to them and dont own any of their albums and haven't learned to play any of their songs. If you make music that doesn't truly reflect you, doesn't that make you phony? Now I like RATM for their music yes, and they said some things that I disagree with yes, but they didn't blame a hurricane on racism, while a few weeks before that say white people shouldn't be able to use street slang. Basically I was just agreeing with Justin that he said something incredibly asinine and that really stops me from caring about his music at all. If you want to flame about that go ahead, as for unwarranted beligerance goes, I'm out.
