i totally should have. the only advantage to the lappy is size and portability. 2 things relatively low on my list of priorities.

it was stoopid X 10.

an excerpt:, 11-06-05 5:49pm

In the first act, the witches forecast that Macbeth will be the Thane of Cawdor, in addition to his current position as Thane of Glamis, and eventually, King of Scotland. Shortly after he is pronounced Thane of Cawdor, he wonders if the prophecy is really true. He ponders the possibilities of becoming king, asking, "If good, why do I yield to that suggestion Whose horrid image doth unfix my hair And make my seated heart knock at my ribs, Against the use of nature?" (1.2.133-36). This shows that the first thing he considers is murdering the King in order to expedite and ensure his ascent to the throne, and this proves his inherent evil. When he relays this prophecy to Lady Macbeth, the first thing she thinks of is also murdering King Duncan, exclaiming to her husband, "Hie thee hither, That I may pour my spirits in thine ear, And chastise with the valor of my tongue All that impedes thee from the golden round, Which fate and metaphysical aid doth seem to have thee crowned withal." (1.5.21-6). This instinct makes Lady Macbeth and Macbeth equal in sin, as both of them first look to murder as being the best available option.

hopefully that helps... although a day late and a dollar short, i'm sure.

Re: Re: an excerpt:, 11-07-05 5:15pm

i sorta made my own.

we were supposed to say who was more evil, lady macbeth or macbeth. i got sick of going back and forth, and just decided to say they were both evil.

yeah that was the topic for ours, I went with Macbeth, but I did strawman that Lady Macbeth started it all
