| i should be able to play UT again kinda soon, since kelly was kind enough to lend me the money to pay for the new power supply that i have to get. before it crapped completely my computer would sometimes lose video even with a clean AGP slot and vid card, then when i would turn if off to try to reseat the card. that didnt work, then i turned the computer on and the fans and all the lights were pulsating, like the PSU wasnt sure if it was on or off. eventually it stopped working all together and just makes a loud, continuous screeching noise at me. luckily, bobtheckroach told me about a good deal on an even better power supply. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=876417&CatId=1079 total cost was $95.17 w/ 2 day shipping ima be screwed after my next check when i have to pay frag and kelly, but fuck it, nothing seems to be going right in my life anymore, so at least im gonna have a working goddamned computer |
