So I go to get some coffee here at work. I walk into the lounge and the T.V. is on and it's a talk show with host Tyra Banks. The girl being interviewed was raped. She was at a party at a friends house, and she had passed out, and then was raped by three of her friends. Guys she thought she could trust actually raped her. She only found out about it because her cell phone called her house and left a message on her answering machine. She said she never told anyone for over three and half years. Her reason for keeping it a secret was because she felt 'dirty' and 'ashamed'. This is sad because she was raped yet she feels dirty for it, like she let them do it. I just hope that any girl I have as a friend or that has any trust in me whatsoever would be able to come to me with this kind of thing because I would honestly try to help them out. Ya this was pretty much just stupid post but whatever. |
