The curious "Queer Duck" factor
Just when you think you have absolutely zero interest in "Queer Duck: The Movie," you find yourself suddenly curious to see it. Take a look at these details: Not only does the animated film feature the adventures of Queer Duck, the Jewish male nurse (voiced by JM J. Bullock); his boyfriend Openly Gator and their mutual friends Bi-Polar Bear (a hard-partying leather enthusiast) and Oscar Wildcat (who's never without a martini), it also features songs with titles such as "Gay Day In Happyland," "I'm Glad I'm Gay" and "Let's Play Gay Baseball."

We can see if it lives up to its potential July 18 when it's released on DVD, but with special features that include "Bi-Polar Bear and the Glorious Hole," "Getting Behind Queer Duck," and "Getting the Right Homosexual," well, it just sounds . . . funny.

If case you hadn't already seen it:
Official site at Showtime

There are 20 available streaming episodes on there.

Michelle, if you are reading, I think this show was created by the Simpsons writer we saw speak at Western with Mike.

He was a much prettier Jew than Aton. Is that even his name?

Remember sharing a Slurpee with me? Mike didn't like that. Ah, the decline.

I was attempting to relate your comment to Joe's "'I liked it.' -Jesus" comment... aha, I'm a dumbass.

Hehe, the Slurpee, I do remember that. And having to lean forward at a 45 degree angle to talk to you and avoid his blocking of you.

Super-double Jewish Behavior Analysis bonus points for bringing it all back full circle with *Eytan. :-D
