Tennis partner, as in Jenny? What's so horrible about Jenny? Nothing. Unfortunately most people aren't intelligent enough to realize how wonderful of a person she really is? What's wrong with her? Is she not pretty enough, or smart enough, or nice enough for you?

Oh, it's probably because she's actually a good person.

Or maybe I was just saying that she isn't all that great at tennis...I absolutely love her as a person, just not as my tennis partner.

maybe you should have a little compassion for other people.

sometimes there are more important things in life that winning a tennis match.

you say that you love her as a person, but if you really did, you would realize that she would probably find out about this post that you wrote, and you would not have written it in the first place.

in thirty years it won't matter if you won your lovely tennis match or not. what will matter is if you can still call your tennis partner your friend.

if you can't-anyone who knows her can tell you, you're missing out on a truly beautiful person.
