this time tomorrow I will be in *emo* ecstasy... 20 hrs till The Juliana Theory!!! I don't think you can possibly be more excited then I am right now ::sigh:: and as that wave of excitment hit, it is quickly replased with the reality that I have to get up in oh... 7 hrs to go to orchestra hell again... good night everyone <3

isn't it an oxymoron to look forward to an emo show?

i bet i could start a woohu journal with emo lyrics punched out effortlessly, and i'd get 10 responses a day of random people telling me to a) cheer up b) they're going through the same thing, or c) kill myself.

say what you want about emo, but with the exception of a few (i.e. weakerthans, dashboard), emo lyrics are just plain weak. not that sappy sense of week, but they just lack substance. example:

"I sit alone and watch the stars / you're the only one in my sky / i cry and wonder where you are / why won't you come out tonight?"

what song is that? i just made it up. took me almost nill time.

that was the most amazing show... I now worship that band more then anything in the whole world lol <3 *yay 4 *EMO*!*
