Subject: The World As of today
As of today... this world sucks.... Why? Because people made it that way. There are so many children poor and hungry in other nations, and even in our own but when they need help, nobody gives a d@mn unless they get paid for their help. But of course those same hypocrites would go and when they need help beg others for what they need, and often times get it. People are sick and dying in ghettos and in third world coutries, and the people who help them are thought of as odd or totally liberal, this is NOT a true statement! It just shows that they have a compassion in their souls that usual "conformed" people do not.

Why are artists ridiculed for what they do? For writing poems that search deep into one's soul instead of just singing about the newest boyfriend or getting dumped. Why is it just that people who are not understood are ridiculed? Anything different is feared of, but why? Why do people fear what they do not understand...

We say we are a country of "Freedom and Rights to every citizen" but not all citizens get the smae treatment in this country. It is quite literally close to Medieval times, the family you are born into, determines your future. Just think about it... Those born into a rich family are surely going to go to the most exclusive private schools, then on to the most expensive colleges, and then get high paying careers. Sometimes, even if the child does not want this, this is forced upon them by the stress of their parents telling them, "This is what's best for you!" But for those born into a poor family, this is just as bad... The children bore from a poor mother will most likely get a poorer education than some of the richer people of this country. Then, they will probably not go to college, for fear of losing the little money they have, and what? they will end up on the streets as their parents.

Why are there so many people in this world who are so prejudice of other races? I am a victim of hearing this... Why does it matter the colour of one's skin or the religion they believe in...? If I brought home a man I truly loved who was another race, my father would go insane. So I am conformed into falling in love with only those of the same race? I find that ridiculous.... There may be differences in our appearances, but aren't we all people on this inside? I have not found the truly right person for me in this world, but if he was another race, so be it... I would never love another if that love was true.

Someday.... I wish the world would change...

The world can change but only if you let it.

Everything you said was true. I agree completely and think that it's stupid as well. But how can we change the world when we are only two people? Who would we get to join us in this racist world? It doesn't make sense. it never will. Pass on your wisdom to those who will listen and someday the world may change, one person at a time.

Okay, this reminds me of a story. I completely forget where I heard it. But here it is:

There was once a Godly man who lived in Sodom and Gamorrah. All day long, he cried out in the streets, begging the people of the city to turn from their wickedness. At first, the people of the town would come and listen to him, mostly out of amusement. Then, as time went on, they became bored with him, or were offended, and soon no one would listen to him at all. Some time passed on. And then a boy, who had seen the man many times in the streets, crying out with no one listening, asked him, "Sir, why are you constantly out here speaking against this 'wickedness' of ours?" The man replied, "At first, I cried out in hopes that some of the people would change their ways. Now, I cry out so that they will not change me."

Anyway, though, before you think about others changing their ways, you'll have to change. Have you found the Way to do that yet?
